After a rough start to the Long-Distance season, the men and women of Hui Nalu Canoe Club finally got to put all those practices into racing.
|
During the telecast, Walter Guild had many great things to say about Hui Nalu, emphasizing that we paddle as Hui Nalu members. We are who we are and are proud of it. Congratulations to all on a great season!!! A Special Mahalo to all the coaches for your dedication!!!

As of Monday, November 11th, we have sold 2830 entries, and 89 of those are Kula 100 entries. Online registration is now closed. You may still enter on paper, with a $75 fee. We will NOT be holding any registrations at the start line this year!!

Packet Pickups: Last year, we signed up approximately 75 people during our packet pickups. Souvenir items are nearly sold out.

Community Engagement Workdays Mahalo Nui to our Hui Nalu Members who volunteered their time October 25 - Restore with Resilience (RWR) Hana Pūko‘a - Maunalua Bay and Saturday, October 26 - OCHRA Ridge to Reef Restoration Day!
Thank you to all those who paddled out to retrieve corals for Hana Pūko‘a, Worked at the coral tables to process the corals we brought in, Helped with fishpond restoration at Kanewai, Helped with the removal of invasive species in Pia and Kuliʻouʻou, And did photogrammetry (on SCUBA) in the Maunalua Bay.

Junior Girls Bake Sale! The Junior Girls held a bake sale to help fund their Na Wahine o Ke Kai experience, and what a success it was!!! They had four tables full of goodies, along with ice-cold Lemonade!! Everything sold!!!!
Proving that if there is a will, there is a way. Natalie Caldeira came up with the idea on Wednesday, and Kealia Kamalani helped her organize it. They sold their delicacies on Saturday!!!
Well done girls!!! Mahalo to everyone who dropped in to get their sugar load!!!
